White Russian

The White Russian reproduces the early-1990s Sovtek Big Muff, the green Russian-era Muff whose thicker low end and slightly smoother top made it a favorite for stoner, doom and shoegaze players. It keeps the four-transistor Big Muff topology of that period, delivering long sustain and a scooped, saturated fuzz-distortion rather than the brighter American Muff voice. True bypass keeps it out of the signal path when off. It runs on a standard 9V supply. As a period-correct clone it is meant for anyone chasing the specific Sovtek sound without hunting down an original that may have drifted or been modified over thirty years.
