Harvezi Hazze
Waveshaping distortion built around a unijunction transistor, spanning distortion, limiting and tone generation.
The Harvezi Hazze from SOMA Laboratory is an unconventional distortion built around a unijunction-transistor waveshaper, a technology from the early days of semiconductors.
Its signal chain runs an optical compressor into a dual-mode distorting amplifier with several clipping options, then the waveshaper and a tone stack, so it moves smoothly between distortion, limiting, waveshaping and self-oscillating tone generation. That makes it suitable for guitar, bass, synth or even drums, and it rewards experimentation. It's aimed at players who want a weird, versatile dirt and texture box.
