Utility Perkolator

The Utility Perkolator is Fredric Effects' most refined take on the Interfax Harmonic Percolator. Higher-gain, lower-leakage Russian germanium transistors and a low-pass filter that tames the circuit's characteristic hiss give a tighter, quieter and more controllable version of the classic sound. A switchable ring-modulation circuit adds splattery octave effects, and internal DIP switches can remove the low-pass filter for the rawer original voice. The result is a distortion/fuzz with glassy harmonic overtones ringing through. Handmade in London by Fredric Effects.
