Unpleasant Companion MkII

The Unpleasant Companion MkII is Fredric Effects' improved take on the classic Shin-Ei FY-2 Companion Fuzz, the harsh 1960s transistor fuzz behind countless garage and psych records. This version adds a volume boost circuit for more output than the original could manage and a scoop control to hollow out the mids. It keeps the FY-2's unmistakably raw, buzzy character, described by the maker as a harsh transistor fuzz unlike any other. Handmade in the UK by Fredric Effects.
