The Super Unpleasant Companion packs two Shin-Ei fuzz clones into a single enclosure: the FY-2 Companion Fuzz and the FY-6 Superfuzz, selected by a toggle switch. In FY-2 mode you get Fuzztone and Volume with a tone switch; in FY-6 mode a Gain/Sustain and Volume with its own tone switch deliver the scooped, octave-tinged Superfuzz roar. It covers two of the most recognisable vintage transistor fuzz voices without swapping pedals. Handmade in the UK by Fredric Effects.
