Parsec

Parsec is an op-amp-based overdrive built for a clean, hi-fi voice, using symmetrical silicon-diode clipping configured for low compression so it stays open and dynamic rather than squashed. The range runs from a transparent clean boost up to a mid-gain drive, with enough output to saturate an amp's tubes or slam the pedals in front of it. Because the clipping is set loose, picking dynamics come through clearly and chords stay defined instead of collapsing. It runs on a standard 9V supply and works as an always-on level-and-grit pedal that colors the tone lightly while pushing everything downstream.
