Foxey Face

The Foxey Face is a Fuzz Face-style circuit with more control than the vintage two-knob original. Alongside Level and Fuzz there's an external Bias knob for dialing the transistor's operating point, from tight and gated to bloomed and saturated, plus an internal input trim to fine-tune tone and response. It's offered with germanium or silicon transistors; the germanium build adds an onboard voltage inverter so it runs from a normal 9V center-negative Boss-style supply instead of needing a special isolated positive-ground output. As with any Fuzz Face descendant it belongs first in the chain and cleans up as you roll back the guitar volume.
