Small Fracture

The Small Fracture is a lo-fi fuzz/distortion from Blue Colander built from the preamp of a classic one-knob chorus pedal, stripped of its modulation and redesigned to distort.

By brutally overloading the op-amp it produces a raw, broken, characterful dirt with a distinctly lo-fi edge, unlike a standard muff or op-amp distortion. It's aimed at players who want a gritty, unusual fuzz with a bit of vintage-chip flavour. Hand-built in Poland by a one-person workshop.
