Fuzz Factory 7 Vexter
Vexter-series silkscreen edition of the Fuzz Factory 7 — 9-position sub rotary and 1956 Amperex Black Glass transistors.
The Fuzz Factory 7 Vexter is the silkscreen Vexter-series edition of the Fuzz Factory 7 — same expanded FF7 circuit, different finish, lower price than the hand-painted variant. The 9-position sub rotary at the 5 o'clock position replaces the 3-position toggle from the Fat Fuzz Factory and covers far more sonic territory — fatter and subbier to the left, thinner and reedier to the right, with the original Fuzz Factory voicing landing at the middle position. Two 1956 Amperex Black Glass transistors handle the gain, visible through a Lexan window. Seven total controls: Volume, Gate, Comp, Drive, Stab, Tone, plus the sub rotary and a Tone stomp switch. Current draw varies with settings from about 3mA up to 50mA during extreme oscillation.
