Stache

The Stache is a stripped-down, two-knob version of Voltic's flagship Awkward Mustache fuzz, built on the same three-op-amp architecture but with the tone controls and clipping options removed to push more gain and saturation. A Fuzz knob works as a voltage divider after the first gain stage, setting how hard the clipping stages are driven, from a gritty, articulate dirty-preamp sound at low settings to a full-spectrum wall of saturation wide open, and a Level knob sets output. The result is a louder, nastier, mid-heavy fuzz with a lot of punch. Top-mounted jacks, standard 9V center-negative power, hand-built in Wilmington, Delaware.
