Caffeine Boost

The Caffeine Boost is a discrete boost built around a single J201 JFET transistor. At low settings its Volume control lifts the signal with little tone coloration, working as a clean volume leveler or solo boost, and pushed higher the JFET adds a light, amp-like overdrive. A side switch selects clipping diodes for more grit, and internal DIP switches move that clipping between pre and post positions in the circuit. It's a compact, always-useful gain stage that can sit anywhere on a board, hand-assembled in Canada.
