Supercool Pedals
77 Fuzz Lite
Fuzz
Dual op-amp fuzz after '70s builds, with a mid-boost tone stack and switchable clipping.
The '77 Fuzz Lite is a stripped-down take on Supercool's dual op-amp fuzz, based on popular 1970s builds and voiced with a mid-boosting tone stack so it cuts through a mix rather than scooping out. An internal switch changes the clipping response from smooth, saturated fuzz to a sputtery, gated velcro texture reminiscent of an under-biased Fuzz Face. That gives one small pedal two distinct fuzz characters, from thick sustaining walls to torn, spitty decay. It's hand-assembled in Canada and sized for a tight pedalboard.
