The Hydra is an Organic Sounds overdrive with Gain and Volume controls and two available voicings. The standard Hydra version has a wide frequency range and natural EQ with a clear, three-dimensional sound, while the Armless version pushes more gain and a brighter, shimmering character. Both keep the touch-sensitive, amp-like response the maker builds toward, cleaning up with the guitar volume and reacting to pick dynamics. It uses buffered bypass tuned to leave a natural tone when off. Hand-crafted in Japan, it sits between a transparent boost and a fuller-gain drive depending on the version and settings.
