RetroVibe Mk.4
All-analog Uni-Vibe with tap tempo and speed ramping. Handmade in Athens, Greece.
Jam Pedals has been refining their Uni-Vibe circuit for four generations, and the RetroVibe Mk.4 is the most feature-rich yet. A ground-up all-analog redesign keeps the signal path pure while adding digital control features that gigging players need.
Chorus mode wraps your signal in slow, lush modulation, while Vibrato mode pushes into rotary-speaker territory. The Mk.4 expands on previous versions with a wider Depth and Speed range, plus tap tempo and a ramping function that smoothly transitions between your current speed and a preset target.
Depth and Speed knobs handle the basics, a toggle selects Chorus or Vibrato mode, and the Tap footswitch doubles as the ramp trigger. A TRS expression jack accepts a passive 10k expression pedal for foot-controlled speed, and a TS jack connects an external tap tempo switch. At $469, it's premium territory, but the handmade Greek build quality and silky analog tone back it up.
