Doom Dweller Reverb

The original Doom Dweller was a single-knob reverb built for heavy music, trading menus and modes for one control that sets the amount of a long, cavernous decay. A subtle touch of modulation moves under the tail so it never sounds static, and the overall voice leans toward the character of an old spring tank rather than a clean studio reverb. It was designed to sit on a doom, sludge or ambient board where a big, always-available wash matters more than tweakability. This first version was later replaced by an expanded multi-mode redesign. It ran on 9V center-negative from an isolated supply with true-bypass switching.
