Plimsoul

The Plimsoul is Fulltone's two-mode drive that bridges overdrive and distortion territory in a single enclosure. The circuit uses two cascaded clipping stages — the first soft-clipping and voiced like a warm overdrive, the second hard-clipping and voiced more aggressively. The Soul switch sets how the two stages interact, changing saturation character between modes. One mode provides smoother overdrive; the other moves into more aggressive distortion. Cover both territories with one pedal. 9-18V DC (18V for more headroom), 12mA. Discontinued with the rest of Fulltone's original pedal lineup but still a sought-after secondhand option.
