OD300 Overdrive Distortion
Variable clipping diodes sweep continuously from soft-clipping overdrive to hard-clipping distortion in a single pedal.
The Behringer OD300 pairs overdrive and distortion in a single pedal using a Mode knob that sweeps between soft clipping on the left and hard clipping on the right, with every gradation in between. Level, Tone, Drive, and Mode handle the rest — the Mode knob is what sets it apart. At fully left it behaves like a warm tube-style overdrive, at fully right it pushes into aggressive distortion territory, and mid-positions blend clipping characters. True bypass. 9V DC, 5mA. Like most of the Behringer analog drive series, it's a clone of a Boss unit (the OD-3/DS-1 lineage) at an accessibly low price point. Practical for players who want one box to cover multiple dirt flavors.
