Warp Sound

The Warp Sound is Fredric Effects' modernised version of the rare 1970s Vorg Warp Sound, an unusual combined filter and distortion effect.

It moves from vocal, filtered distortion into full fuzz territory as the gain is increased, with a distinctive resonant, formant-like character that sets it apart from ordinary drives. Fredric brings the gain control to the outside of the enclosure for easy tweaking, where the original kept it internal. Handmade in the UK by Fredric Effects.
