Mutant Fuzz

The Mutant Fuzz is Fredric Effects' version of the Brazilian Os Mutantes Regulus VIII fuzz, which shares its topology with a silicon Fuzz Face but runs grittier and more trebly. A rotary Tone control replaces the original's tone switch, an internal bias trimmer is brought to the outside of the enclosure for dialing in gated or fuller textures, and it cleans up from the guitar's volume pot. Built-in RF filtering keeps the high-gain circuit quiet. Handmade in the UK by Fredric Effects.
