Tweedy 5B3

The Tweedy 5B3 is DanDrive's amp-in-a-box overdrive, hand-wired in Germany to capture the character of an early-1950s tweed Fender Deluxe (the 5B3 circuit).

That amp's octal 6SC7 preamp valves give a subtly richer midrange and less top-end bite than the more common 12AX7 designs, and the pedal translates that into a warm, dynamic drive. Level, Drive and Tone cover sparkling clean-up through gritty tweed breakup that responds to your touch. It sits well as an always-on tone or a low-gain push into a clean amp for that tweed sparkle and grit.
