Toranja Compressor

The Toranja is a compressor modeled on the Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer, the scarce plug-in unit prized for its snappy, slightly gritty squeeze on funk and country parts. A Blend control mixes the compressed signal against your clean tone, so you can add the Orange Squeezer's attack and sustain while keeping the dynamics and pick definition of the dry signal underneath. An internal trimpot sets the core compression and is meant to be left alone once set. It runs on a standard 9V supply. As a JFET design it colors the tone a little rather than staying invisible, which is part of the Orange Squeezer's appeal for always-on use.
