Black Hole Sunn

Black Hole Sunn recreates the preamp section of the Sunn Model T, the tube head behind a lot of doom and stoner tone, and adds a boost stage to push it further. Two gain controls labeled Normal and Bright set the character of the two voicings, letting you dial anything from a thick clean push to saturated, sludgy grind. A three-band EQ shapes the low end and cut before the output, so it can act as an always-on preamp coloring your clean amp or a heavy front-end drive into an already-dirty channel. It runs on 9 to 18 volts, and the higher supply opens up headroom and tightens the low end for down-tuned playing.
