Channel 2
The second channel of the Super Duper 2-in-1 sold standalone — unity to +24dB gain, 5M ohm input impedance.
Channel 2 extracts the second channel of ZVEX's Super Duper 2-in-1 into a compact standalone pedal. It covers the range from unity-gain buffer through light, transparent MOSFET overdrive, with a master volume so you can push the gain into overdrive territory and still dial output level to taste. Just two controls: Gain (unity to +24dB) and Master Volume. The Gain control simultaneously adjusts bias and amplification on the single MOSFET transistor. At lower gain settings the input impedance climbs to 5 megohms, which is unusually high and produces a notably sparkly, detailed guitar voice when plugged directly in. With the Master fully clockwise and no other changes, the circuit is functionally identical to a Super Hard On. 9V DC (no battery option). Under 10mA current draw.
