The Thirty Something chases the Vox AC30 Top Boost channel — the chimey, harmonically complex British breakup that drove 60s rock and chiming indie guitar for decades after. Volume, Gain, and Tone keep the interface simple. The circuit is voiced around the AC30's distinctive EQ curve and the way it responds when pushed: rolled-back guitar volume produces jangly, sparkling near-cleans, digging in brings out the chime-laden crunch that the AC30 became known for. Runs 9V or 18V DC — 17mA at 9V, 23mA at 18V. Higher voltage firms up the headroom if you like dig-in attack. True bypass, built in the USA.
