The cataPulp captures the Orange amplifier character — thick, slightly fuzzy British overdrive with pronounced low-end thump. The gain structure covers a lot of ground: classic rock grit at lower settings, all the way to thick syrupy stoner and doom territory wide open. Volume, Gain, and Tone controls shape the fundamental sound. It can run as a tone shaper in front of another drive or as a secondary gain stage on its own. Runs 9V or 18V DC (24mA at 9V, 26mA at 18V). Higher voltage opens the headroom and firms up the low end — useful if you play hard with humbuckers. True bypass, built in the USA. Paired historically with the Tumnus when Wampler announced both at NAMM 2016.
