Jangle Master

The Jangle Master is a full analog overdrive/preamp based on the 1964 Vox AC-30/TB (Treble and Bass Boost) amplifier, replicating its tone stack and phase inverter stage. Built around a TRIAD Magnetics Military 'Red Spec' (MIL-T-27E) high-reliability audio transformer for authentic transformer saturation. Capable of sparkly clean through fully cranked saturation — the amp-like overdrive that defined British Invasion jangle. Top Boost section has Gain, Bass, Treble, and an independent Boost footswitch. A Boost Channel switch toggles between Rangemaster treble booster and classic volume booster voicings. Master section features Volume, High Cut, and main bypass. Internal Presence trim (default minimum) fine-tunes high-frequency response. Supports 9V DC center-negative. Top-mounted jacks, true bypass relay switching. Designed and built in Greece.
