Fuzz

The Teisco Fuzz uses silicon transistors rather than temperamental germanium, delivering reliable fuzz tones without the temperature sensitivity and voltage drift that often plague vintage germanium circuits. A switchable upper octave adds harmonics one octave above the input signal, similar to classic octave-up fuzzes like the Foxx Tone Machine or Tycobrahe Octavia. Tone, Level, and Gain controls cover standard fuzz parameters, while the octave on/off toggle switches between straight fuzz and octave-doubled fuzz. Silicon construction means consistent tone across temperature changes and voltage fluctuations — particularly useful for live use where germanium fuzzes often misbehave in hot venues.
