Eligos

The Eligos is Siren Pedals' interpretation of the legendary Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal, the pedal that created the signature Swedish chainsaw sound of Scandinavian death metal (Entombed, Dismember, Grave). Released in June 2020, Eligos maintains the core sonic character of the original while adding modern improvements. The control layout mirrors the original HM-2: four knobs for Volume, Distortion, Bass, and Treble forming a two-band EQ. This simple but effective EQ section produces the extreme low and high frequencies that define the HM-2 sound, from scooped and aggressive to thick and crushing. The key circuit differences from the original: true bypass switching instead of buffered bypass, omitted buffer circuit for more transparent signal path when engaged, and top-mounted jacks for easier pedalboard integration. Hand-built in the USA in a red enclosure with demonic artwork, shipped with a collectible trading card. 9V DC, 50mA.
