The Chime3 is the third-generation version of Pettyjohn's Chime circuit, refined over roughly eleven years since the original PettyDrive.

It focuses on clean to low-gain overdrive and excels at sparkling, edge-of-breakup saturation that stays dynamic and touch-sensitive, cleaning up from the guitar's volume. It works as an always-on tone enhancer or a transparent low-gain drive that stacks well with other pedals and responds like a lightly pushed amp. Hand-built by Pettyjohn Electronics.
