The Preamp-150 recreates the preamp section of a vintage Roland Space Echo, the part that pushes an amplifier right to the edge of overdrive.
It delivers that warm, gain-on-tap character without the fragility and upkeep of an original tape unit, working as an always-on tone thickener or a low-gain drive into a clean amp. It's aimed at players chasing the specific push and colour of a Space Echo front end. Hand-built in Montreal by Mile End Effects.
