Rise

The Rise is King Tone's germanium preamp that can work as a clean boost, an overdrive, a fuzz, or a dynamic always-on preamp that brings out natural, woody sustain. The Glass knob transitions seamlessly between fuzz, drive, and clean-boost textures — not three discrete modes but a continuous sweep that blurs between them. A Drive/Vintage/Fuzz toggle reshapes the voicing to suit different guitars and amps. A Ge/Si switch chooses between germanium or silicon textures at the clipping stage. Side-mounted dip switches on the V3 select germanium or silicon diodes, adjust edge/glass amount, and tune LED brightness. Hand-built in California with a CNC-milled aluminum enclosure and laser-engraved graphics. 9V DC, 100mA on the V3.
