Oxblood
Klon-inspired overdrive co-designed with Jack Orman, with two selectable clipping stacks and an active, gainable treble control.
Keeley's response to the Klon clone wars — not a direct copy but an original take on the Mythical Beast, designed with Craighton Hale and mod guru Jack Orman. The op-amp and diode-clipping topology sits in Klon territory, but with a more aggressive tone stack and two switchable clipping sets so you can move between the open, transparent mid-boost voice and a hotter, more saturated alternative.
Volume, Treble, Tone, and Gain up top, with a toggle for clipping flavor. The Treble control is active, so it can add real sparkle or scoop it back without thinning the fundamental. Stacks well with lower-gain drives — this is a pedal that was built to always be on.
One of Keeley's flagship drives in the post-Manis lineup.
