Angry Orange
A '78 Boss DS-1 and a '91 Civil War Big Muff in one box, with swappable clipping sections for hybrid distortion and fuzz tones.
Part of Keeley's 4-in-1 series, the Angry Orange pairs two orange-hued classics: a 1978 Japanese Boss DS-1 distortion and a 1991 Soviet Civil War Electro-Harmonix Big Muff fuzz. A toggle switches between the two core voices, and a clipping swap lets you cross-breed them — DS clipping with Muff tone stack, or Muff clipping with DS tone stack — for two hybrid distortion-fuzz hues that don't exist in the source pedals.
DS position runs hard diode clipping for edgy, cutting rhythm and lead tones. MF position uses soft clipping for the thicker, muffled fuzz wall. Both sides share the same Level, Tone, and Drive controls. 9–18V operation lets you open up the headroom.
Built in Oklahoma with the same 4-in-1 architecture as the Super Rodent and Blues Disorder.
