R-05 Maximum

The R-05 Maximum is a Revolution-series dual-channel overdrive built around two distinct gain stages. The Drive channel delivers pure, uncompressed overdrive tones. The Boost channel — controlled by its own Boost knob — adds wilder overdrive with longer sustain and can stack with the Drive for heavier territory. Four controls: Volume, Tone, Gain, and Boost. Two toggle switches shape the voicing: a 3-position Mid switch (Hard/Flat/Smooth) contours midrange brightness, and a separate toggle chooses between MOSFET and diode clipping modes — MOSFETs for smoother tube-like response, diodes for a tighter, more aggressive character. Ambient Revolution-series LED syncs with the footswitch. True bypass. 9V DC, 30mA.
