Coyote

The Coyote is JHS's replication of the rare early-2000s Moonrock Fuzz by Glenn Wyllie, blending volume swell, fuzz and octave fuzz along a single knob.

At the low end notes bloom in with a slow-attack swell; around noon the tone energises into a Tone Bender-style fuzz; and fully clockwise a ripping octave fuzz reveals itself, with the circuit using a transformer as its inductive element. Because the three effects sit on one control they can be blended into unusual in-between combinations. True bypass, running on 9V DC.
