The FINE.OD is a hand-built Japanese overdrive covering clean boost through vintage-style drive. Volume, Drive and Tone set the core sound, and two toggle switches expand the voicing: a bass boost adds low-end weight and a bright switch lifts the top end, letting it match different guitars and amps. It leans toward a smooth, amp-like breakup rather than a mid-humped Tube Screamer voice, and cleans up with the guitar's volume. Human Gear builds in small numbers with quality components and has a strong reputation among Japanese boutique makers. It runs on a standard 9V supply.
