Hi Gain Box

The Hi Gain Box chases the California high-gain sound associated with early Mesa/Boogie Rectifier and Mark series amps — tight, aggressive distortion with dynamic, touch-sensitive response despite the high gain on tap. All-analog circuitry handles the signal path. Six controls: Volume, Drive, and a full 3-band EQ (Low, Mid, High) for detailed tonal sculpting. The larger 11.9 x 9.4cm enclosure accommodates all six pots comfortably, and the 350g solid aluminum housing is built for gigging use. Runs into an effects return as a standalone preamp if you want to bypass your amp's preamp stage. 9V DC center-negative, standard Boss-style jack.
