Haze

Haze is a generative glitch and looping machine that turns any audio into shifting texture. Built on a stereo lo-fi tape-looping engine with a glitched digital buffer, it skips, stutters and stretches time into rhythm and motion, and can run for hours mutating a loop or a live instrument. Playback speed changes also shift pitch like a tape system, and moving off 1x speed drifts the record and playback heads for unpredictable results. A Warble switch adds light or heavy tape-style modulation, and two footswitches transpose playback to 0.75x or bypass the mangled output. It has selectable mono or stereo I/O, runs on 9V at 300mA, and is built around a Daisy Seed DSP.
