FM-7 EQ
Six-band graphic EQ (±15dB) for tightening dirt pedals and reshaping fuzz and distortion.
The FM-7 is a six-band active EQ built on gyrator filters, each band cutting or boosting up to 15dB, with an overall Level control. The bands sit at 100Hz, 180Hz, 420Hz, 720Hz, 1.5kHz and 3kHz, chosen to shape guitar and bass dirt, and the pedal is aimed at tightening the low end and reworking the voice of fuzz, distortion and overdrive pedals placed before or after it. On a high-gain doom or stoner board it can scoop or bump mids, cut boom, or transform the character of a stacked drive. It ran on a 9V center-negative supply, with an isolated supply recommended to keep it quiet, and has since been discontinued.
