Doom Screamer Overdrive

The Doom Screamer reimagines the Ibanez TS808 Tube Screamer with a modern low-noise JFET op-amp and more headroom, tuned to work for both guitar and bass. A Volume, Tone and Gain layout matches the classic Screamer, with Tone shifting from bassier to brighter and Gain running from clean boost to full overdrive, and a toggle selects asymmetrical or symmetrical diode clipping for a rougher or smoother edge. Where a stock TS scoops low end, the Doom Screamer keeps bass clarity while pushing the mids, so it stacks in front of a doom or stoner rig without thinning out. It ran on a 9V center-negative supply and has since been discontinued.
