Zesty Comp

The Zesty Comp takes as its starting point the much-recorded Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer compressor, but leans into its character rather than hiding it.

Instead of smooth, transparent squash it delivers pronounced, squashy compression with a distinctive attack, and a boost stage lets it push solos out front. Volume and input gain controls set the output and how hard the compression bites, giving everything from gentle levelling to a squeezed, funky sustain. Handmade in the UK by Fredric Effects.
