Foxrite
Modernized 60s silicon Mosrite Fuzzrite clone with an added boost and a Rite/Rong voicing switch.
The Foxrite is Fredric Effects' modernized version of the late-60s silicon Mosrite Fuzzrite, an exact reconstruction of the original circuit with an added boost stage to bring the output up to modern levels. It ranges from garagey, spitting distortion to full-on octavey, velcro-ripping fuzz. The MkII adds a central slider labelled 'Rite' and 'Rong': the Rite setting is the vintage-correct Fuzzrite, while Rong keeps the two gain stages in series and turns the Depth control into more of a conventional tone knob, sweeping from doomy bass to raspy, spitting treble. It runs on a standard 9V DC supply. A faithful but louder take on one of the great garage-fuzz circuits.
