Fuzz Rangers
Fuzz
Boost
Dual pedal pairing a 1969-style silicon Fuzz Face with a Rangemaster treble booster.
The Fuzz Rangers combines two vintage circuits in one enclosure: a 1969-style silicon Fuzz Face and a Dallas Rangemaster-style treble booster, reinterpreted after the approach of Jimi Hendrix's tech Cesar Diaz.
An EQ switch voices the boost as low, mid or high, and a routing toggle sets which circuit feeds the other so you can push the fuzz with the boost or vice versa, all engaged by a single footswitch. It draws around 70mA from a 9V DC supply. Hand-built in Todi, Italy by Marco Bovelli.
