EAE pedals tend toward high-gain amp emulation rather than subtle boost territory. The Citadel captures the aggressive midrange bark and glassy highs of a cranked British Plexi. It shares DNA with the Model feT but voices the EQ toward brighter, more cutting tones. A three-band EQ lets you sculpt everything from chimey cleans to saturated roar. Volume and Gain controls interact like a real amp — back off Gain for edge-of-breakup sparkle, push it for singing sustain.
