Passive ABY Box

The Passive ABY Box from EarthQuaker Devices is a fully passive signal router — no buffer, no power, no tone coloration. Send one signal to two destinations (A, B, or both in Y mode) or combine two sources into one. Because the circuit is completely passive there's no active circuitry of any kind between the jacks. That also means no battery, no adapter, and nothing to fail. Documented use cases from EQD include one guitar into two amps, two instruments into one amp (an oboe and a bass, a keyboard and a harmonica — their words), or keeping a second rig hot for quick swaps. Compact 4.4 x 2.9 x 1.9 inch enclosure. Since there's no buffer, very long cable runs on the output side may show some signal loss.
