Avalanche Run
Stereo delay and reverb with tap tempo, reverse mode, and expression control. EQD's flagship time-based workstation.
Introduced in 2016, the Avalanche Run pairs a stereo digital delay with a plate-style reverb in a single enclosure. The delay offers up to 2 seconds of time with a wide-range Tone control that takes the repeats from bright and clear to bucket-brigade darkness. Reverb runs lush and plate-voiced with a touch of built-in modulation and an adjustable Decay. A three-way toggle selects between Normal, Reverse, and Swell modes, and tap tempo with six subdivision ratios keeps repeats locked to the song. An assignable expression input maps to any of six parameters. Switchable true or buffered bypass, with five tail-length options including a lo-fi sound-on-sound looping mode. Stereo in and out, 9V DC, 410mA — it needs a serious power supply.
