The CB Paint is Catalinbread's take on the late-1980s Alesis Microverb, a compact digital reverb with eight programs: six room reverbs from the original patches and two effect modes.

Mix blends dry and wet signal, Tone is a two-pole low-pass filter that darkens the reverb, and Onset sets pre-delay, capturing the Microverb's filtered, lo-fi charm that has been used by artists from Daft Punk to Mac DeMarco. It's aimed at players who want vintage-digital ambience rather than pristine, modern reverb.
