Aspen One GE

The Aspen One GE is the germanium edition of Case Study's Aspen One, using hand-sourced vintage germanium diodes for softer clipping and smoothed highs compared with the silicon version.

It combines the Aspen overdrive with a transparent MOSFET clean boost and relay switching in an all-analog pedal, so you get two stages with independent footswitching in one box. The germanium clipping gives a rounder, more vintage-voiced drive that suits players after warmth and smoothness. Made in Lake Country, Wisconsin.
