The Black Emperor is Blue Colander's clone of the v8 'black Russian' Big Muff, built with higher-quality parts than the original.

It's voiced for remarkably high-gain fuzz with a compressed, bursting attack and earth-shaking bass content that goes beyond even the fattest green muffs. Its five-knob layout adds tone-shaping over a stock three-knob muff, letting you dial the voice more precisely. Hand-built in Poland by a one-person workshop specialising in fuzz and distortion.
