The Bearfoot Emerald Green OD is the lower-gain version of the Emerald Green Distortion Machine — a germanium Vox-voiced overdrive aimed at clean-to-medium dirt applications rather than full distortion. The 4-knob design includes Voice and Treble controls alongside the standard Volume and Gain for more comprehensive tone shaping than most vintage-style germanium drives offer. It excels at adding warmth and harmonic complexity without overwhelming your base tone — useful as an always-on mix enhancer or as a specific clean-breakup flavor. Hand-built in St. Louis by Donner Thompson from Björn Juhl (BJFe) designs — BJFe being the Swedish builder behind the original Bearfoot circuits.
